Country Life: The Art of Living Well Longer
Thursday, 9 July 2026
2.00 PM – 5.30 PMCountry Life and KYN Hurlingham invite you to an afternoon talk hosted by Executive Editor Giles Kime, concluding with afternoon tea – designed for those who understand that proactive wellbeing is among life’s greatest investments.
The Afternoon
The afternoon opens with KYN’s own physiotherapist Ronan Briody, whose practical masterclass on movement, joint protection and falls prevention offers guidance with immediate, real-world application.
Then clinical nutritionist Eva Humphries MSc takes to the floor for ‘Feed the Brain’ – a genuinely rewarding talk on the foods that sharpen thinking, lift mood and protect cognitive health, with recipe ideas you’ll want to try that same evening.
Suzanne Mumford, Clinical Director and Queen’s Nurse at KYN, will offer an illuminating perspective on the art of living well into later life – making the compelling case that true longevity demands far more than the merely physical, and that emotional fulfilment and social connection are essential to any life gracefully and fully lived.
Complimentary Health Checks
Guests are also invited to take advantage of complimentary health checks with our registered nursing team, covering blood pressure, cholesterol, BMI, peak flow and more – delivered with the same quiet expertise that defines life at KYN every day.
